HOW TO make a St. Patrick’s Day Turtle Parade:

Let me show you how to make these fun St. Patrick’s Day turtles.

You will need:

templates
scissors
coloring pens & markers
glue
toothpicks or similar

Step 1: Color and craft the basic turtle

These turtles are incredibly simple to make! Start by coloring and cutting out the turtle shape. Next, make a small cut from the outer edge towards the center of the turtle, then apply glue to the marked area. Fold and glue the edges together to form a fun cone-shaped turtle. And just like that, you’re done!

Step 2: Add 3D elements & shapes

You can also choose to add some adorable St. Patrick’s Day-themed elements like a harp and a shoe. For an extra touch, there are 3D additions such as shamrocks, clovers, a pot of golden coins, and a rainbow. And, of course, no parade is complete without festive banners and flags to finish off the look!t.

3D Shamrocks & Clovers:

Bend the petals of shamrocks and clovers slightly upwards. Add a little glue to the center on the back and attach to the turtle shell.

Banners & Flags

Add some fun flags and banners that help make any parade great. They make fabulous cupcake toppers, too!

Step 3: Add a cheeky Leprechaun to lead the parade

Cut out the Leprechaun and fold him at the waist to create a seated position. Apply glue to the bottom area and the upper legs on the back. Carefully place him on the turtle shell, positioning the bottom towards the top of the shell. Then, add more 3D elements and give the Leprechaun a flag to wave for an extra festive touch!
